· Understand 5 foundational principles that every Rebbi can incorporate into his classroom to teach and reach every child.
Rabbi Avraham Yitzchok Ausband
Rabbi Avrohom Yitzchok Ausband comes from a long lineage of world-renowned Gedolim and Mechanchim. His family’s strong influence in the Oilam HaTorah V’Yeshivos spans several generations of Telshe institutions, both in Europe and the United States. A talmid of Springfield Yeshiva, the Rosh Yeshiva, Harav Eliyahu Meir Sorotzkin zt”l invited Rabbi Ausband to serve as Mashgiach in 2011 before joining Rabbi Elbaum in opening Mesivta Shaarei Adirim in 2017. Rabbi Ausband’s keen understanding of a bochur’s social and emotional needs and development, has been a driving force in the hatzlacha and development of Mesivta Shaarei Adirim.Rabbi Mordechai Elbaum
A talmid of The Springfield Rosh Yeshiva, Harav Eliyahu Meir Sorotzkin zt”l, Rabbi Elbaum spent nearly a decade as a 7th grade Rebbi at Arie Crown Hebrew Day School in Chicago. There he gained extensive classroom experience. During that time, he developed an evaluation method to diagnose and address learning challenges specifically as they relate to learning Gemara. In 2017 Rabbi Elbaum founded Mesivta Shaarei Adirim, a Mesivta geared to talmidim with various learning challenges, such as ADHD, ADD, anxiety, moderate depression, dyslexia, processing disorders, and other such challenges.Become a Member!
