This training introduces teachers to the 5Cs framework—Connect, Contract, Clarify, Create, and Commitment—a practical process for building strong teacher-student partnerships. Educators will learn strategies to connect with
students, create realistic “contracts” tailored to their strengths and values, set
achievable goals, and secure genuine commitment to progress. Flexible and
adaptable, the 5Cs can be applied in 1:1 consults, group settings, or across
academic, behavioral, and social contexts.
Rabbi Shalom Storch
Rabbi Shalom Storch is a veteran menahel with 30 years of experience, having led yeshivos in St. Louis, Cleveland, and Lakewood, where he founded Yeshiva Nesivos Ohr. He served for six years as Resident Mentor of Torah Umesorah’s Senior Leadership Fellowship, Aish Dos, and is a sought-after trainer, mentor, and coach in chinuch.
