Managing Student Behavior
Many students today struggle with self-regulation, leading to outbursts, impulsivity, withdrawal, or anxiety—behaviors that can overwhelm teachers and unsettle classrooms. This session helps educators better understand these challenges, pause unproductive patterns, and adopt approaches that build resilience and connection. Participants will learn to recognize escalating behavior, implement self-calming techniques so that students can “borrow our
calm” before finding theirs, and provide practical “resets” that support focus,
regulation, and positive relationships.
